Abstract

A comparative analysis of the strategies of socio-economic development of 2 subjects of the Russian Federation - Tver and Tula regions, development scenarios is carried out, taking into account the influence of the Moscow agglomeration. The strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with the proximity of the regions to Moscow and the Moscow region, reflected in the SWOT analysis of the regions, are analyzed. The advantages of implementing interregional infrastructure projects for each of the regions, the role of investments, including foreign ones, the advantages of cluster regional development are shown. The results of the analysis of the impact of the proximity of the Moscow agglomeration on the socio-economic development of 8 subjects of the Russian Federation, presented in three articles, are summed up.
