Abstract

The article examines the genesis of global value chains as a result of the law of the international division of labor in the modern world economy. In the context of globalization, the assessment of the integration of the national economy is carried out according to the main indicators of value added developed by international institutions. The indicators of value added allow us to determine the advantages and disadvantages in the economic development of various types of countries.
